The wine and whiskey selections exceed expectations. Really great options. I love their signature banana old fashion, it's just yummy plain and simple. The Reuben deserves recognition, that clove/nutmeg or whatever it is.... It's👌🏼 add it to your list it's a must try! My favorite thing about this place is there are trendy menu items that appeal to me but there are also things to satisfy my kids appetites. It really is such a convenient place for those nights when your family is hungry and you want something close that you all can happily agree on
Love this new place!! Best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had, so many great menu items to choose from. We started w the crab cakes & shrimp Cocktail for appetizers. Then ordered the pork chop and a Reuben sandwich for dinner. And the cocktails were delish! The atmosphere is awesome, service is stellar, food is fabulous, management is marvelous…Go check them out for lunch or dinner!
I recently visited Oakview for the first time and was genuinely impressed from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere immediately stood out as it has a fantastic vibe that strikes the perfect balance between upscale dining and a relaxed, welcoming spot to enjoy with friends or family. It feels just as appropriate for a date night as it does for a night out with the guys. The bar area is first class - beautifully designed with an excellent selection of cocktails, draft beers and wines. Just as notable was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience seamless. When it came to the food, everything exceeded expectations. The pimento cheese appetizer was outstanding as it was drizzled with hot honey and was delicious. We also ordered the quesadillas and wings, and both were crowd-pleasers. For entrees, we shared the fish and chips, smash burger, Reuben, and seared salmon, and every dish was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to order any of them again. To finish, we shared the carrot cake and bread pudding, and both were fantastic. It was an ideal way to end a great meal. I highly recommend Oakview. It’s a standout restaurant with great food, a top notch atmosphere, and exceptional service.
Great atmosphere, food was absolutely delicious - and the cocktails were perfection. This is a fantastic, upscale-but-comfortable neighborhood spot; don’t miss it! First time but won’t be the last. Love the atmosphere- super relaxing, great vibe. Food was delish. I had breakfast platter & hubby had salmon caesar salad. You can tell service is of upmost importance too. Look forward to trying more of their menu! Great addition to Holly Springs!
Wonderful addition to the Holly Springs food scene. Classy modern city vibe. Large space with drawn curtain for private events. Volumetic space that appears designed to control noise. We sat for a late evening dinner with wonderful food and service. Menu is small, but expected to vary with seasons. Will return.
Recently, our group of 16 neighbors from Regency at White Oak Creek dined at the Oakview Public House. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated at our table. Our server Elizabeth was fantastic! She allowed us a few moments to settle in while we ordered cocktails. They arrived quickly, correctly and all were delicious (even with several custom touches). There is a good selection of spirits and reasonably priced bottles of wine from all regions. We ordered appetizers and all were served at the proper temperature. Our table favorite was the Burrata & Grilled Bread. After finishing our appetizers and refilling our glasses were ordered our main course. We never were rushed and Elizabeth was always helpful with suggestions. Our dinners arrived together and were all delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff for delivering 16 meals to our table perfectly! Our favorites were the Short Ribs & Mash and the Fish & Chips. Portions were plentiful. After finishing our meal, the 8 checks were delivered to the table. There were no errors. We had a great night and will definitely be back. Management has done a great job in training a professional young staff and developing a creative menu where everyone can find a selection of fine food.
A new spot in Apex that really hits the mark. The space has a modern, open feel that makes it instantly comfortable. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and yet not too big either. Usually places with large menus sacrifice quality for quantity, not this place. You can tell the sauces are made in-house, which is a big plus. The fish and chips came with generous portions and perfectly flaky fish. The Korean BBQ wings were another highlight with a great balance of sauce and breading. Overall, it is a fresh addition to Apex’s culinary scene and definitely worth a visit.
This is such a gem of a place and a fabulous addition to the Holly Springs food scene. Every single thing on the menu hits home. My favorites are the fish & chips and the steak frites. Good portion sizes and absolutely delicious food. This place has a wonderful air about it - the decor, the ambience - perfect! It’s classy without being pretentious or “there-goes-my-paycheck” expensive. The service is top-notch too! Our server, Aubrey, was polite and attentive and did everything she could to make it a great experience. In a nutshell, do yourself a favor and go try this place out!! You can then me later 😊
Went there for the first time last night. It exceeded our expectations! Our waiter was attentive and so polite. The drinks were original and tasty (and generously strong!). Our food was absolutely delicious. We got the burrata for an appetizer and both got the steak frites and got vegetables on the side. Steak was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be going back again very soon!
